Hi
I just upgraded my SONAR X2 Producer version to X3 and when I don't see the ProChannel tab in the Inspector or in the Console View.
 
Have logged this with Tech Support. Just wondering if anyone else has faced this problem, and if I have to tweak the configuration perhaps. Note, I did not get any errors any installation and the registration process went smoothly.

In X2 there is a key binding to open the PC Inspector specifically (as well as the other Inspector views). I don't have access to my notes but I think they were I + Shift/Ctrl/Alt type modifiers. Check the manual to see if those are still active and maybe you can shake it loose. Cheers.

Did you accidentally purchase SONAR X3 instead of SONAR X3 Producer?

Dan, does that mean that they're only going to be available/usable in the X3 Producer Version?
 
Even the ones that I've bought through the Cake store?

There are 3 versions of SONAR X3
X3 - no ProChannel
X3 Studio - has ProChannel
X3 Producer - has ProChannel
Any ProChannel module works in X3 Studio and X3 Producer

ProChannel comes with SONAR X3 Studio and SONAR X3 Producer. If you bought the wrong one accidentally, give us a call and we can upgrade you for the price difference. All your ProChannel modules will work from previous versions.

Unfortunately going from X2a Producer to X3 would be a downgrade. If you made an honest mistake then I'm sure there's an option to make it right.

I haven't purchased any upgrade just yet, but I have X2a Producer including 3 Pro Channel Modules I bought separately.
 
So just to clarify, if I were to upgrade to X3 only, not Studio or Producer, my current PC Modules wouldn't work with it?

That is correct. To use your existing ProChannel modules you would need to upgrade to X3 Studio or X3 Producer.

Oopsie. They probably should have left the "Essentials" part at the end of the name. Seems the Bakers are more than willing correct it though so that's good.
 
Now I'm curious... If you are an X2 Producer owner and you "upgrade" to X3 (Essentials just for clarity's sake) or Studio what happens if you want to level up from there to Producer? Is it standard policy to just pay the difference? Can it be done through the store or do you need to contact support? Does it install right over top of the lesser version or does it create a second instance of the program? Do these pants make me look fat?
