Unfortunately, this ain't a joke. Before you complain about CW support, just remember that this moron represents a not-insignificant percentage of their calls...

(Warning: narrator has a limited vocabulary and relies heavily upon generic four-letter words. If you've never heard those words before, or have a toddler on your lap, skip this video.)

Hes been upstairs under many different usernames but the  song is the same

I'd give him about a "2" on the articulation scale.  I'm pretty sure he might have been my DI in boot camp.  Their vocabulary was pretty similar.

That was hard to watch. I wish I could punch my screen and knock him out.

The cigarette is a dead giveaway...no pun intended.

I'm going to go against the grain here and say that he actually had a couple of good points from a frustrated beginner's perspective, and he made me laugh a couple of times (e.g. when talking about his ass-wiping concept album). But other than that, the dude was basically me ranting at my screen about certan other software I use except that I would never dream of recording it and putting it on YouTube.

I liked him. He's a bewildered middle-aged man railing against the inanities of modern life really. I can identify with that. I mean, a large lavish box, containing...a piece of paper with a code. That's straight out of Douglas Adams.

I wound up watching a couple of his videos ...
I'm not judging the guy since I have felt as frustrated at times learning my DAW...
Overall I get the impression that the guy is enjoying himself to a degree ranting about a lot of the accelerated social and tech ways of doing things that have come down the pike recently ...

Regarding the SONAR video , I don't have the need to defend Cakewalk at all ...he could easily get up to speed if he really wanted to

The guy has character. The puffs on the cigarette, the sips of beer, the language. I nearly had a heart attack from laughing when he started talking about his concept album (analogy to wiping your a**???), and the 'long ears' style. He is opinionated and quite honest in concerns, so I can't fault the guy for that. His presentation though can offend some. Maybe Cakewalk should consider listening. Sonar is a professional application and is geared as so. But unfortunately is not very intuitive. Would it be so hard to provide newbie assistance in the form of new user videos as he mentioned? It might help them in their business.
