  • Sonar X3 close floating window ctrl-f4 command problem

I use an external Bluetooth controller for remote control of Sonar in a live setting. The pok is basically a computer keyboard type controller. Pok controls certain features like play / stop , marker jump and close floating window commands to exit from the song just played thus leaving the playlist view visible after exiting out of the previous song. Everything still works on x3 with the Pok having the same settings as far as command shortcuts except the (close floating ) window command (ctrl-f4) now opens and closes the main fader view instead of working as it used to like hitting the upper right X to "close window" of each song. I don't want multiple song files confusing things and possibly draining computer resources.

In playlist mode my old sonar 8 would let me close each song out by the command ctrl-f4 no problem. Is there another command available to accomplish this?

Thanks much

I think you are the only one who uses an external Bluetooth controller for remote control.

I used the Frontier Tranzport or the Frontier Alphatrack. Some used the Presonus Faderport. Other used a seperate Laptop via LAN (or WLAN) with a remote desktop.

I use a laptop controlled by the POK. I used to use the frontier tranzport on sonar 8 with success but it doesn't work with Windows 10 and sonar X1 I'm pretty sure. The reason I am wanting the close window command to work is so that in playlist mode, it doesn't leave the previous song open in the background. Very confusing when you have 10 songs open at once.
