Of course, Sonar has to die just as I'm looking into a new music computer.  My old Win7 DAW can't last forever, but it's been a loyal trooper.

Is my license transferrable to a new computer, or does my Sonar die with the old one?

I'd keep using SPLAT Producer for years to come--plenty deep for me--if I can transfer the license.   Otherwise, it's hello, Cubase.

You can use a license for SONAR to install on two computers simultaneously so long as the licensed user is only using one computer at a time. How long before you will be unable to activate a new installation is moot.

Yes. You can change computers as many times as you like. That is not transfering the license as you still own it.

The Authorisation servers are up and running, there should be no issues.

Remember to use you Celemony account to download Melodyne.
Goto XLN Audio to download the XLN installer to install AD2 and manage your account.

Both of these manufacturers do track installations.

There is no 2 computer limit, you can install Sonar on every computer you own as long as you are the only one who ever uses it. I have it on 7 computers right now as back ups. You are limited to 2 computers for some VST's like AD2.
