The XLN installer basically forced all users to download AD directly into their DAW computer. I have figure out a work around to that and I would like to share this to help fellow Sonarian!

AD is installed in three different location in my computer. I am using windows 7 64 bit. The program files was installed in Program files(x86) > XLN Audio. The AD sound samples is stored here and it is 1.21Gig in size. The 64 bit AD vst itself is installed in Program Files> Cakewalk>Vstplugins>Addictive Drum.dll. The third file is preset setting folder in the Document>Addictive Drums. Copy this 3 files/folder into the same location of your second computer. Then load AD in Sonar X3. Click beats tab and click refresh library. Have fun!

Let me know how it turn out. My DAW computer has very slow internet. I down load halfway and give up. I contacted XLN and their answer is (I paraphrase) is "you have to use the download route."

Until last night my DAW had never been connected to the net before, so I looked for a workaround myself before connecting but couldn't see one so had to go online.

One thing I did notice is that when I visited the XLN site it seemed to take a note of the machine ID (or at least assigned it a code) and asked for a computer name.   Are you sure this won't cause problems with this workaround?
