... since I cannot get in the store I checked Sweetwater and the upgrade there is 199.00 for any Sonar Producer user. I see others have been a bit put off by a 149.00 upgrade price. Confused...

For now, I wouldn't go by Sweetwater site info - some of it is wrong and they likely won't sort it out until their staff comes in on Monday. 
 
Even if you order through their site - again, it is the weekend, and no one is processing the X3 upgrade orders. (I know because I ordered from Sweetwater on Friday and had to cancel it.  Instead, ordered from CW's site yesterday, and was able to download it immediately ).
 
AFAIK, the upgrade offers from CW are not time-sensitive (meaning that if you intend to order in the next few days, there's nothing to worry about).

 Just to be clear, it's an update from Melodyne Editor 1 to 2....not from the included Essential to Editor in X3...

I was able to pay and get my downloads, but I can't get my registration number--when I try to log in, the connection keeps trying and eventually times out. It's been doing this all day.
 
I just noticed that on the left panel, I'm called a "new member," due to my paucity of posts, even though I've been a member for almost 10 years.

I can't get in...the reset password does not work at all......when I upgraded to X2, Cakewalk had to manually set it over the phone......aggravating

Sorry for the trouble guys. The forum downtime we just had was linked to working on the back end of the store as well. We're receiving a lot more traffic than anticipated (which I guess is a good problem to have?). Anyhow I just wanted to let you all know we're still working on improving things.

I Have been trying to log on all weekend their page just stalls. Anyone else I have no issues with any other sites just CW.

Here I am with all these wonderful X3 downloads and no access to my serial. I may have to bail on the studio tonight and I'll be forced to do the dishes or clean! :-)
