I can certainly appreciate your anxiety over not knowing the status of your order... but "dire straits"? You said you placed your order Sunday morning. So you've barely waited one day... You can call CW and/or Paypal in the morning and they will get you sorted out. Worst case, you have to order a boxed upgrade from a 3rd party dealer.
I'd say the more worrisome part of all this is the fact that CW shop/account servers were mostly down yesterday. It's now 5:00am the next day on the west coast, and they're still down (At least, I can't log in).
I feel sorry for the CW staff, who experienced (IMO) one of the smoothest upgrade rollouts in Sonar history.... only to have server issues the next day.
Dire straits? They may be yet to come (I hope not, of course).
