I have always opted for boxed versions. Maybe I just like to have something to keep or hold but is there any reason anymore I would need a boxed version over the DL version AND.. if I buy the DL version will I have Cake send me the boxed version? I don't see an option for it. Retailers have it for a 199 upgrade price.
 
Is this something I should not worry about and just DL?

I just get the DL. You can burn the DL to disk. You can even unpack the DL using a tool like 7-Zip and burn install DVDs similar to the ones you purchase. The difference being the X3 DL is already patched to X3a.

I want to get a box just because it may be the last time it will say "Cakewalk" on the box.

But I also want the version with "a" to install all at once.

Not sure what I'm going to do.
