Maybe Carl has an answer for us

OK, it's officially worse.  I had my 8 programmable function buttons set up to turn on Snap and change various snap settings and that is broken now even when the smart grid is disabled.

I haven't noticed any difference but my 'F' buttons are assigned differently to yours Dave.

Have you tried reassigning them back to the settings and reloading the ini? You can do that by pressing M4+F1 or a Sonar exit and restart of course.

I'm dissapointed that the MCU seems to be going backwards in terms of usability. I'm currently using an ACT surface for the MCU shortfalls but it'd be nice to have it all back in one place again.

Dave, a single word fully answers your question. It begins with n and ends in o. I think it's still using the same driver from 2006 with no ACT support. Why oh why can't they recommission the same programmer to do an update?

Having said all that, a lot of thought and effort has clearly gone into other areas and the results are well worth upgrading for in my view.

I'm wondering if maybe we can approach the author of the driver?  I'm certainly willing to pay extra if that is what it takes to get results..

FWIW the keyboard shortcut for Snap On/ Off has changed from f12 in X1 to N in X2. Perhaps that's what messed up your custom mapping on the MCU? SP

No improvements for MCU, but nothing worse/broken (which is a plus in my book)

Maybe X3 will being the changes we all desire *FINGERS CROSSED*

It's intermittent with that command which was accessed through a drop down window in the ACT interface.  The Snap to 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 from the same ACT interface is what is broken in all cases.  I suspect the Smart Grid feature broke it.  I've tried fixing it by re-associating the button with the command.  The Snap to/Snap by command works as intended.

Hopefully, you have someone on the beta team that can help with the testing.  If not, I will lend any help I can.
