Might be worth switching it from Mackie mode into another. Shut down and restart. Then switching it back to Mackie mode. I really can't think of anything else to suggest. Has it always been like this or started recently?

I can't even think the unit's faulty as the buttons must work to be able to use the first 2 modes. Sorry.

Ok.Ok.Ok. FastBikerBoy I solve the problem. The problem is in language of Sonar. If you install Sonar in other language of English (in my case Spanish) the name of certain plugins isn't the same and certain function and buttons in Mackie emulation don't work. Ex: When I push in BCF2000 the EQ button 1 time in the BCFview I have 'Track 1: "Audio 1", Plugin: "Track Eq" this is the problem, in spanish Sonar I have 'Track 1: "Audio 1", Plugin: "Eq de pista". For fix the problem I edited the file MackieControl.ini and I replaced "Track Eq" for "Eq de pista" and "Bus Eq" for "Eq de bus" and this resolve the problem in EQ mode 3. I look for others plugins.

Best regards & Thank for all.

Well, that's obscure enough, eh? No wonder no one could reproduce that!

Really glad you found the answer. It had to be something really bizarre that you'd never guess at in a million years. I won't ask how you discovered that!!

At the first time I haved installed Sonar8(in Spanish) and F1. not work, later I installed Sonar6(in Spanish, of course), same problem. I load in the BCF2000 the factory preset, I lower the firmware to 1.07, reload 1.10, drivers one more time, and I obtained the same result. I investigated in the Sonar folder Shared Plugin, the plugins with extension.ini in this files I look the presets for the plugins, and in the folder Shared Surfaces I look MackieControl.ini in this file I see the description and parameters for FX and Sonitus plugins but I don't see anything. Another day I see in the BCFview the name of plugin in spanish and I remenber the name description [Track EQ] of MackieControl.ini. I try to install Sonar7, in this version not exist spanish language I install in English and I try EQ button in mode 3 and this work(ooooH), I see the BCFview display and the name of plugin was "Track EQ" not "Eq de pista". I go to computer with Sonar6(in spanish) I modified the MackieControl.ini Et Voila! fix the problem.

Thank you and Thanks to Blades for your interest.

P.D.- Blades, I waiting for you 3 Video Tutorial.

Hello, in 3 part I want if posible, navigation section, how select a part of track, how to assign function "Restores view to previus state" and your Tip's and Trick's. One question I have in the windows Mackie Control configured Jog Wheel Resolution in beat mode and the Transport Resolution in Measures I not have difference, how work that?

Thanks

Track selection is governed by using the select button on the required channel number and then pressing M1+Select (i.e. M1+Shift 2 + rewind). That will select all the data in the track that you have selected on the track/fader area.

Example...

1. Press 'Channel select, on track 2. Highlight shifts to track 2
2. Press M1+Shift 2+Rewind. All data in track 2 should now be highlighted.

To select different time areas seems complex at first but is very easy once you get used to it.

Depending on which mode button you have lit controls how the fast forward and rewind buttons behave.

For example press Shift 2 + fast forward will put you in marker mode. Now when you press rewind the now time will jump back to the previous marker (if there is one) and likewise fast forward will jump the now time forward to the next marker(if there is one)

Shift 2 + Rewind is Select mode and the ff and rewind buttons will jump between 'from time' & 'thru time' respectively

Shift 2 + Stop is Loop mode - ff & rewind jump from loop start to end respectively

Shift 2 + Play is punch mode - ff & rewind jump from punch start to end respectively.

To set these regions put into the relative mode and then press M1+rewind to set 'from time; and M1+FF to select 'thru time'. Then simply turn the mode on by pressing Shift1+required mode key.

For example to set up a loop.

1. Put into loop mode - Shift 2+Stop.
2. Set loop start - M1+rewind
3. Exit loop mode to allow full use of transport buttons - Shift 2+Stop
4. Use transport keys to move to desired end time (remember you can use the marker mode/select mode etc to jump to various points)
5. Re-enter loop mode - Shift 2+Stop
6. Set loop end - M1+FF
7. Turn on loop mode - Shift 1+Stop

Sounds long winded I know but once you learn the modes and get used to it you can select regions in split seconds.

Hope this helps a bit but have a play around you'll get the idea.
