No problems, glad you fixed it - now you can get on with making music.

Don't know what would be stopping the touch fader to select track, it does work.

smallstonefan - sorry I didn't reply sooner. In my case, I'm not using the BCF via midi cables - I'm doing it via USB, so I honestly don't know what mode I'm in at the moment.

Glad to hear you got past that. The select track thing should be working...when you say "touch" a fader, you know that really means move one in the behringer world, though you so barely have to move it that it feels like touch sensitivity (as long as you aren't fighting automation). Have you tried to "flip the bit"? Meaning, change the setting to be not enabled, OK out of the panel, then go back in and change it back TO enabled. To my knowlege, there is no other setting to change.

I'd be interested to know what happens if you go USB - not that you need to stay that way, but as a troubleshooting mechanism. See if everything works there and at least that would help eliminate variables.

Hi Blades,

Thanks for chiming in! If I barely move the fader it does select the track, thanks. I guess I don't really consider that "touching" the fader, but Behringer can call it what they want I suppose. :)

For some reason, when I go USB Sonar won't show me the MIDI OUT for the Behringer. It's doing that for my keyboard as well, so I suspect something's wrong. Regardless, I have a MIDI hub and it's working that way so I'm functional. The BCFView even works through MIDI so I think I am all good.

This was a HUGELY frustrating event. Your videos really helped, as did the comraderie here. Thanks to all that helped!

I look forward to some serious mixing over the next few weeks. I've only played with the unit but it looks like it will be worth all of the hassels. I'm currently setting up my busses to make it easy to do final mixes with the Behringer.

PS: Do you ever get tired of watching the sliders snap into place?

Well, technically, Behringer doesn't call it that. You are reading MAckie's wording, and in the case of an MCU, they ARE touch sensitive. The Behringer is not, but that little movement simulates it. The Behinger unit is not advertised as touch sensitive - it's another of those little things that make it $199.

That makes perfect sense, thanks for clearing that up!

I really really really wanted the Mackie - but at 5 times the price???

Excellent tutorial I was wondering is there any way to download it. I would hate to have everything set up and one day out of the blue something goes wrong and I cant find it or its not being hosted anymore.

Hi guys,

I just wanted to say after much pain I now have the BCF working in Sonar and I'm LOVING it!!! Thanks to all who helped. I wish Sonar supported it natively and let you do a bit more customization, but I'm currently feeling like I'm absolutely getting my money out of this thing.

thanks! :)

Hello i need help with BCF2000 and sonar. I have a problem with third mode of EQ. I have in the display of BCF2000 - F1 but all faders go down an all encoders no lights. I see the second video of BLADES but my BCF2000 don't work in this mode. The rest of modes and the all functions works perfectly with sonar in Makie Emulation. Thanks.
