Just had my first crash, opened an old project...the colour scheme went all crazy then Rmix popped up and I got a blue screen of death.

So was that real or just joshing?

Been playing around for a couple of hours, and (knock on wood) not a glitch or bug in sight so far.
I haven't done any real heavy stuff but it's still very encouraging. X2a would have driven me mad by now.
 
Download is X3a

Seth, after installing via download it tells me that I've got X3a, is that what you meant by 'We're already on X3a' ?  (i.e. not 'We're presently working on X3a')

So far I'm noticing a lot of little things. The revamp of the PC EQ is great and so much easier to use now. Plug in manager is much better, although I still have to exit Sonar and restart to finalize changes. The dedicated comping mode warrants some exploration.
 
I have not looked at the new plugs, but I have to say the package is really worth the $149. Great job bakers.

I'm still 25 minutes away from installing.

X3a is for the full installer download.

Boxed users aren't getting their copy till next week. So a patch X3a is slated a few days from now. We're doing final checking on the installer, etc.
 
Dev has already been working on X3b since last week. That won't include the video features Noel has talked about being in a future update. That's slated for c.

Now that's what we like to hear.

Well, that's good news. The X2a PC EQ is the most worthless tool I've ever seen in a Cakewalk product. I've never been able to use it without wanting to bash my monitor in.
