With the X3 install, is it necessary to install anything that has been installed from X2?
EG: Sonitus gear, Boutique Suite, Engineering suite Rapture, Dim Pro (especially these last two with all the unpacking of samples etc)
Thanks

The things that have not changed do not need to be installed - I am not sure it saves much time to go through and remove checks, versus just letting them overwrite whilst you savor a tasty cold beverage though.

Thanks Bob, but as X3 installs into a new folder, I was wondering if it actually
DID
overwrite those, or create new versions in the new X3 folders?

Actually, there isn't a lot that gets installed in the X3 folder. Most of the plugs and utilities go into common Cakewalk folders (overwriting or replacing previously installed plugins etc).
