For some reason I want to still believe in a $99 download. But I'll probably pay the $149 eventually (or wait for the sale if in two months CW does see the expected revenue).

While at $99 I'd still be hesitant...I'd be "less" hesitant...
I'm still gonna wait...nothing in this update that I really can't live
without...I have Melodyne, I have AD, I have Nomad, I have Tape
Emulators, ...so I guess I'm paying $150 for VST 3, that I don't
even use really...all just to be one of the first Public Beta Testers...
in this case MORE is definitely LESS.

Nah...I'll wait...there's always sales down the road, and a a better offer...

But but but..... unlimited VSTs in the menu and browser.......
Better take lanes/layers....
Color customization of skylight.....
VST3 offers ressizing.....
 
Now if I was sure drum maps worked properly (WRT to soloing) and there were nested folders (all of these may be listed as minor features/fixes) and a gapless engine (still seems less likely) I'd probably (almost) jump on it.

I'm hoping an X2b release alongside X3. It is possible.... Isn't it??

I guess we can always go back to hardware digital recorders and tape recorders. That will show them we mean business.
