Anybody else seeing this?

Threat: Win32Evo-gen

The only way I can get this installed is to turn of the antivirus temporarily, and that is not a very good idea.

Showing up on Part1 and part2 of the Producer install.

Norton's tagging them as fine. Not sure how Avast works, but Norton runs a reputation system along side its antivirus which rates downloaded files based on how many users use the file, as well as the source url.

Thanks.  I missed that thread.  I searched on the forum for "virus" and nothing came up.

I had that problem, too.  I had run a scan before downloading X3 and came up clean.  Then during the download, I got that message, so I uninstalled Avast and proceeded with the download with no further problems.  Later, I installed Microsoft Security Essentials after installing X3, ran a scan and found one huge bug that Avast totally missed.  I was tired of Avast anyway, since it kind of acts like a virus in its own right.  All is well with my system, now.

Agreed!
For a freebie you cant argue with Microsoft Security Essentials, it is awesome, never had  a problem, does not affect stuff it should not or slow my system down, mcfee used to do so much damage to my system and then try and hold onto it after uninstall of mcfee ,  All they want to do is control your system, never looked back with  Microsoft Security Essentials. I don't understand why its free and yet you pay and get trashed by others.
Microsoft Security Essentials is  a safe move in my books.
