You definitely should add this. Studio One does it and it's really good. Maybe in X3c?

Yeah, I agree. A few other DAWs have MIDI chase and it's a nice feature, although I have found that it doesn't always behave as intended when the synth part is arpeggiated, sequenced, or makes heavy use of sync'ed LFOs. So, if it ever is implemented, having the option to turn it off would be nice.
