I have X2 producer. If I upgrade to the x3 studio version instead, I assume I'll lose access to pro channel modules I had in x2?

Wishing I hadn't bought melodyne essential 8 months ago! The producer instruments look good, but I have 3rd party alternatives and I'm most interested in workflow improvements like comping and track colours.

Yes, your existing PC modules with work in X3 Studio, at least that is what the CW staff have written on this forum (several times).
