  • Need help from Cakewalk with broken X3 download links

My download links for part 2 and 3 of X3 Producer doesn't work, and when trying to contact customer service, I get this error: 

Server Error in '/' Application.

The resource cannot be found.

Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.  Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

So that's why I'm reaching out here. I've tried downloading using Chrome, Internet Explorer and Free Download Manager. Sometimes I manage to start the download, but part 2 and 3 always end up corrupted or just freezes right before reaching 100%. I have a fast and stable internet connection, and I've never had this issue before.

Thanks for the tip! I disabled avast, and the download started immediately for both part 2 and 3. I thought it was only necessary to disable anti virus when extracting and installing. Anyway, it's still about half an hour before the download is finished, but hopefully it'll work out.

Disabling anti virus before downloading seemed to be the solution. Installing X3 now. Thanks, markyzno!
