Andrew Rossa [Cakewalk]
I reached out to a few to see if we could help resolve their issues and discuss their thoughts. They wanted no part of it.
I am fairly new here and find the personality groups fascinating. These groups aren't mutually exclusive, but it seems to me there are clusters
A) people who are comfortable using 3 or 4 DAWs and are pretty agnostic. Most of them regard SONAR as their "first love" although they choose to use other tools depending on the situation.
B) People who have been with Cakewalk all the way back to the original sequencing days. They might complain a bit, but it is because they care.
C) People who are legitimately frustrated with some aspect of X2, and are economically dependent on the software so they reluctantly moved to another DAW, but they still come back here because it is home.
I think I understand all of the above. But then there is
D) The haters who seem to spend all day here just to tell everyone how terrible SONAR is and how they are long gone and lever looked back, but there they are again. How can we miss you if you never leave?
