I already own Melodyne editor (V2.1).  Was wondering what the process needs to be to use the previously installed version within X3 with ARA?  Are there procedures to get this plugin integrated into X3?
 
Any advice before I begin my mission to make this happen is appreciated.

The Melodyne installer in X3 handles this case. If you are already on 2.1 it will simply update the build to the latest version. If you already have the latest update from Celemony (build 115) then no changes will be made.
Either way whether you have essential or editor is governed by your melodyne serial number so nothing should change in your case as far as functionality goes.
 
For users on Melodyne 1.x editor however then there is an upgrade cost if you want to go to 2.1. The installer will prompt you if so.
