It's simple - communicate with yours customers. If you make an announcement like that are lucky enough to have hundreds if not thousands of fans waiting minute by minute ALL DAY for the announcement, you have the courtesy and respect to post a message or two and set proper expectations.

they've turned me from a fan to a skeptic. :( I feel like I wasted a lot of time today because of their failure to communicate.

+1
Takes at most 15 minutes to add message to image or home page saying things have been postponed, delayed, or whatever.

Not very spectacular - however, the Hybrid "Duo" sounds looks interesting, and that it incorporates into Omnisphere with all the posibillities of Omnisphere's engine. Hmmm.

Edit to add: The Video is worth a look! If I was a piano player I'd get this I think. I'm not, however...

Well, I love keys, but we already have lots indeed, and very good ones.
As an Omni expansion? Sure, but not at $399 or $299. Maybe $149. Just maybe.

The quality and sheer variety make it seem like it's worth it to me. I was blown away by the authenticity of the samples. Of course those guys are such great players it's hard not to sound great. But my ears were delighted.

I have been thinking about getting a Yamaha P115  for the lounge room later in the year just for piano practice, but now after watching this video, I am thinking I might get a Roland A 88 instead and hook my old laptop up to it.

As for the the software, I think I would rather buy this than and ultimate upgrade.  I would buy it at the $200 dollar price point, as there is 40 odd pianos, so $5 an instrument is okay with me, not sure about $10 and instrument though when I have so many already.

I think Spectronics may have just sold me on a Roland product..
