  • 2 FlyOut EQs but they overlap...

The FlyOut EQs don't seem floatable, and it's hard to open two at the same time so you can work the kick relative to the bass.

I'm scratching my head on this one. Seems like it would be so super useful to see multiples at the same time...
maybe even one for every track on a touch screen so you could tweek them all as you listen.

Why are they pinned relative to their Pro Channels?

I hit F1 on this effect and got good help, BTW, but it didn't have suggestions related to leaving them all open on an available screen.

The help is here...

I think one of the vids explained that the flyout closes if the track looses focus. Not sure if this behavior can be altered.

Yes it can with the lock toward top right.

Right, you can lock it, but if you open another it may open under the first. You can lock both and switch between, but they overlap. You can't read both together.

Cool. Lock is what you do to PRV in the dock. :-)

Well...

So I can use the Analyst or Blue Cat FFTs broken out on other monitors for the tracks... but when I FlyOut the PC EQ I cover up the other EQs.

X-Ray (shift X) doesn't work on the FlyOut.

You can't float the FlyOut window away from the PC.

You can't control what it covers up when in FlyOut mode.

...

On the good side, it works well with touch, and when using touch you would probably not want to float the window around the screen and lose track of which one relates to which track.

The best I've been able to do is to minimize the PC EQ so that when I FlyOut the EQ it doesn't cover up the small EQs in the other tracks.

That's kind of annoying, but I guess if you could move them around then it wouldn't be a "flyout," it would just be a plain old floating effect window, which would sever its connection from the ProChannel somewhat. It's a pity we don't have the choice of a plain VST version of this EQ to do with as we please, because it seems excellent. Also I'm guessing that you can't have more than one per ProChannel as before?

You can't float the flyout around (like a normal effect window).

You can't remove the EQ from the Pro Channel.

You can't add a second EQ to the Pro Channel of this EQ Type.

where are you going to put 2 of these at the same time so you can work them both at the same time ?
no way. there's not enough room
these are awesome, perfect to do precise measurements.

enjoy  :)
