This marks the first update, but not the only update, to SONAR X3. We want to communicate this from day one.

When we released our master copies of the disc versions to manufacturers, these were the initial builds listed above. Since releasing this master copies, our developers have been working around the clock on further updates to the program, including some long standing bug fixes as well as feature enhancements to X3 as suggested by feedback from our helpful friends, Cakewalk staff, partners, and our Beta team.

Ultimately our reason for having an update on day one is to communicate our continued support and efforts to make SONAR X3 the best version of SONAR yet. We strongly believe it is. This marks the first update, but not the only update, to SONAR X3. We want to communicate this from day one.

NOW thats good enough for me

Wow! Customer support has always been good to me. Never got a fix that fast ever! LOL! Maybe this buyout jazz won't be so bad after all. I do have to agree with most here. I won't be happy about the upgrade price being raised unless the audio engine has been tweaked in this version too. I had lower latency in X1 that I can't attain in X2. Most of my work pertains to composing on my own for clients. Thus, a lot of VST instruments. I have not had any crashes this far in X2 but the clicks and pops can really get annoying.
None of that will stop me from upgrading to X3. I believe in this company and the guys in this forum are the best tech guys you could ask for. On to X3!

Not wishing to answer for Beepster - but as he is one of the most helpful, friendly and enthusiastic contributors to this forum, my guess is he really means it.
