Might as well start it now. It's only a matter or time until it's needed.

I'll start.

Needs better attention to the handling of the things it does poorly.

I'd like to record audio without having to insert a vsti (which constantly crashes and sounds fake). Could we go back to the old way. If so, I'll publish a sample library for free.

Why are you already posting about X3a, when X3 hasn't even come out yet???

Thought of another one...

Can we have a new GUI with all the underlying problems we've had since 2004 (random year) still there with claims of improved audio engine, including specs for winrt because that helps. Microsoft always thinking of how someone other than using spread sheets wants to use a computer. RME winrt highly acclaimed low latency audio driver heaven.

I do not know if it already has it, but I would like to have a robust, plain vanilla, small version (split the super DAW into super and mini me)  for quick recordings. A tuner and a metronome included in the mini me. Just let say 16 audio channels and 16 plain midi with no soft synths. This mini me should also run well in tablets (i.e., wWindows, Android and Mac compatibility included).

Ya, exactly. As long as I can record my beats, higher someone who can sing but still implement auto tune, then perform live at the iTunes festival dancing fabulously to the prerecorded audio then of course spinning in a cage, 15 shoe, wig and costume changes, of course with a live band which you never actually see play a note.

Perfect!

Never thought I'd say this but thank God for Elton!

I would like the gui to automatically keep the bottom of the screen towards me so as I move around the room it will rotate the screen orientation like I'm a magnet. Then I can walk around without having to rotate the screen. If I try to use it from the other side of the desk, no problem!

By the way, Pro Tools has had this for like 30 years! duh!

My wishlist .

1. Less content, like samples / loops ( an alternate option to download on Cakewalk's page ) for those
that want it, making sonar less in size to download.
2. A simple GUI, with not to many windows.
3. Less VSTi's , i hardly use any of em ( but that's just me ) , making a new good basic GM module for
basic music creation. ( the TTS is a child toy .. )
4. Better and a few plugins with good quality ( Compressor / EQ / Limiter ) / analog modeled, within sonar
as basic, also keeping the Pro-channel.
5. Celemony Melodyne implemented in sonar,  ( V-Vocal ) is not good enough ( my opinion again )
6. Better midi arpeggiator, also more midi FX's
7. An easier to handle, audio snap funktion
9. An bmp counter plugin ? , meaning if you import a song into sonar, you can add a that plugin into the FX bin
and get a readout of the tempo of the song !
10. A customised metronome, to be able to load other sounds for click's

11. A stable DAW
