About ACT Combo
Tone is the elusive thing that makes guitar amplifiers special. ReValver has set the standard for amp sim tone with its revolutionary component level modeling and ACT (Audio Cloning Technology ™ ) sound sculpting. Now ReValver is putting the power of ACT into your hands with the introduction of the ACT Combo and ACT Rack tone matching modules. Find the tones you want and own them. ReValver just became unlimited.

these are pretty nice . . .  and for $2.99 although you will need the act combo which is $39.99, still great value and really quite good. then if you use some of the act input libraries in front of them ($2.99 a pop) and act output libraries on the end that 'pretty nice' goes up a whole 'nother level, with so much variation available.

i own pretty much every amp sim out there, never really used revalver that much as i preferred others, but since the release of the act combo and act rack and now these presets, and actually starting to use the act input and output modules i think i will be using revalver quite a bit more, which would be good seeing as i own and have owned everything in the revalver store

time will tell, but for now revalver is taking on a whole new light for me, whether and for how long that light continue to shine i will see.

Geez, but I hate ReValver's ACT. Not because it isn't excellent (wouldn't know; never used).

It's just that I see threads like this and I get all excited thinking the Bakers FINALLY started bringing ACT (Almost Can Talk to my P6) out of the digital stone age.

But, NOOOOOOOO.

Bitter disappointment, once again.

Grim, I'm with you.  I've used all the amp sims out there (software and hardware) and was never particularly happy with Revalver; but 4 seems to have been a huge step forward.  And now ACT seems to up the ante again.  For the first time in a long time I'm taking a hard look at Peavey.
