voted , but choices for some categories seems to reflect who advertises with em or something.. as there are some decent things that aren't listed.. hhhhmmm
 
cubase / nuedo being 2 for 1 is bit naughty.. but maybe ableton will win out.. really depends on the type of music the voter makes perhaps.

This survey is one of the key ways SOS gathers data to show advertisers on what sort of readership they have. In other words, they only get the high end advertisers in there because they can show they have readers who actually use that kind of gear. So sure, it's designed to generate a certain type of information. I think that's fair enough.

The prize haul on the thing is always astounding, I'll give them that.

Regarding Cubase / Nuendo, if you think of it in terms of demographics, they serve very different markets. So it makes sense that they'd be separate.
