  • Can I install X2 32bit and 64bit on the same Win 7 64b PC?

Probably been answered somewhere, so apologies for being too lazy to wade through the mass of stuff on this forum :O)
 
X2a Producer 32bit and 64bit on a Win7 64 PC? Anyone done that?

yup
 
1 goes in program files
1 goes in program files (x86)  << 32 bit
 
just can't use 64 bit plugins with 32 bit version

Yes, you can do that. It allows you to access older 32-bit plug-ins that won't run under SONAR 64-bit.

Yes you can. In fact X2 is the first time since SONAR was 64 bit that I haven't installed both 32 and 64 bit on the same PC.
by default SONAR gets installed into its own directory tree under Cakewalk, one under Program Files (x86)/Cakewalk/Sonar X2 Producer, for 32 bit and the other under Program Files/Cakewalk/Sonar X2 Producer, for 64 bit
