And to clarify WHY I'm upset... what your reply to me was basically that third party plugs are to blame for problems, people on the forum's opinions are less valid because we are malcontents who do not represent the "true" user base and that past behavior of releasing timely updates is not indicative of how the company plans to operate in the future.
Seriously it was some food for thought from a guy who took a chance with Sonar and it was dismissed out of hand. As I said I will be far more cautious when buying or recommending your products from here on out. Sorry but I do not feel as confident or as enthusiastic as I did a short year ago.

most of the issues reported were 3rd party related, Ryan has mentioned this in a previous post. I did not deny that there were issues still unresolved. There were a few I was upset about too (I was a SONAR user for 10 years before joining Cakewalk). I never said your opinions are less valid. We have surveys that go out every year to the entirety of our user base.
Just a point to think about. There's quite the pirate presence on the forum, I know if I was a paying customer, I wouldn't want them dictating how a company spent my money on improving the software I use. I've reached out to a lot of these individuals before and they just disappear.
