hi all:  first time posting.
I have X2 with all updates, 64bit win7.  In all my FX bins, there are no scrolling arrows.  the menus that popup listing the FX are limited to very few FX...10 or so.  So, I can't see all my Waves plugs for example.
Which means I can't get to them without making up dozens of specific folders.
never happened in 8.5.3.
any ideas?

Wow - I have never used that many on a single channel strip's FX bin.

If I find anything I will let you know.

I don't think Sonar uses scrollbars in the Fx bin. Have you tried moving you mouse wheel?

not in the bin itself...sorry for being confusing.  when you right click in the bin and the Audio Fx option shows up, I've always been able to scroll through all my FX via small arrows at the top and bottom of the lists. those are gone on my home system.  my work system has them and I can't for the life of me figure out what is different.
thanks!

I believe you are trying to describe a problem with scrolling in the FX selection menu. Maybe a little about the PC might help. Also, is the selection menu in the Inspector messed up? Does the browser show all the plug-ins? Are you using the "Default all plug-ins" layout? How many plug-ins do you have installed?

pretty typical pc set up I think: quad core, multiple drives, Win7 ultimate, RME fireface 800...

in the Plug in Manager in X2 all the plugs are listed.  all the places where the plugs are located are pointed to there also.  So, e.g., Plug-In Layouts / Default All Plugs...not all are there and you can't scroll through the bigger Folders like Waves.  There are no arrows e.g. when you go to VST plugins menu...no arrows top or bottom of the list so you can't view all the Waves plugs or any other listing / folder that has more than 10 or so.
thanks again.

Maybe your screen resolution loses the bottom or top of the list?

That was my thought truncating the top and bottom of the menu? It seems a little extreme that only 10 line items list on the menus. Does that fill up the screen? It should show many times that.

BTW, there are differences in the way 8.5 and the X series respond to windows display preferences. I would bet windows has the display adjusted to 150%.

I used to lose things at 150%.
