Hi Bapu, its a fair question, as it is fair to laugh at as well. With Cakewalk now being sold, to a guitar manufacture and with Tascam in the frame, Cake will be lucky to get any more of my bucks until I see how this acquisition pans out. It's worth the question!!!

Why would you expect all the new features/plugins/enhancements for free when the rest of us have to pay for it?

Speculation was rife a month ago that either X2B or X3 was in the pipeline. You should have waited a bit.

I remember updating an older version and they gave me the update for free
so i beleive they would give you the x3 update

Ben, Sometimes that's just sods law.

I bought PT 10 and about 2 months Later PT11 came out 64 bit capable... I think the upgrade was about 400 sheets!

The upgrade last month was only $50. You already have this advantage over users who upgraded earlier, and now on top of that you want X3 totally for free??
