I bought Valhalla Room yesterday and got the key and installer.
It's not working for me yet but I'm emailing the developer to find out why. It might take a few days to get back to me and for all I know it's a Sonar or XP or other issue .
If anyone knows about any odd install issues regarding Sonar and the valhalla VST I'd appreciate it?
I got the installer file and XML file that is the key. (I don't have a program for XML other than Open Office-is that important?)
I ran the installer (32 bit for me) and it found the VST folder and appeared to run fine.
I ran Sonar X1 and told it to search for new plugs. I watched as Valhalla appeared in the plug list.
I ran a file and installed Valhalla but the old demo version came up.
It was supposed to run me thru a process but nothing happened.
I looked in it's properties but see nothing obvious like "Input Key".
They did say the demo version was not able to be converted that a new one would have to be installed.
I assumed the new install process did this (changed the DLL) because there was only the demo version on the website.
Any ideas or experiences?

Delete the demo .dll files in your plugin folder (leave the full version .dll in place), then bring up a project file
and assign Valhalla. You should then see a window requesting you nav to the .xml file.

I had no problems installing it, but I suspect I probably removed the demo version first. Did you try that?

Thanks, in the process of deleting as per the above instructions, I discovered I have two VST folders.
Installing to the correct one worked.
