To the best of my knowledge you CAN sell the crossgrade as long as the NEW buyer
has the SAME product that you crossgraded from
(or any other qualifying crossgrade product), but you CANNOT
sell the original product...unless you sell the BOTH together.

I see them for sale on KVR all the time...

That would make sense if you were bailing on the product (i.e. you only bought the crossgrade).

But I would imagine you could not sell the crossgrade if you used a K10U crossgrade to upgrade to K11U.

No you could not. K10 or K10U upgraded or crossgraded to K11U is K11U
and that is what you would have to sell...K11U upgrade or crossgrade to somone
who already owns K10 or K10U...you would, in essence, be "downgrading".

yeah, you can sell your most recent product but the new buyer needs the correct qualifiers. I sold a copy of Kontakt 4 update and included Kontakt 3(the update qualifier) for free. That worked.
