Hello,
is anywhere a good tutorial or a documentation of this plugin?
In sonars helpfile is not so much information about all adjust options. The helpfile refer to a online documentation wich i can't find.

Here is a link for a YouTube video clip for it from way back in Sonar 8:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzP0ghqFA2M

And, here is a Google snippet of the X1 Power book, which talks about the TL 64 Tube Leveler - it even goes through the parameters of it:

http://books.google.com/books?id=AYYLAAAAQBAJ&pg=PA319&lpg=PA319&dq=tl+64+tube+leveler+sonar&source=bl&ots=Mzu_NgFafj&sig=KIZMbGs8bFsx3QkIQYoGAuAvZAs&hl=en&sa=X&ei=nt06UsvKJ9fJ4AOyoYGwBw&ved=0CDIQ6AEwATgK#v=onepage&q=tl%2064%20tube%20leveler%20sonar&f=false

Please note that there is now an X2 Power book out, by Scott Garrigus.  I own the Sonar 8  Power book, and I am quite sure by comments I have seen that the X1 and X2 Power books are as well crafted as the Sonar 8 Power book I own.  TONS of good information in them.

And here is a link to a Cakewalk Video series on all of the effects - something like 5 hours of video:

I hope that helps.

When the Cakewalk help file refers to online help, it means a separate help file on your PC.  In the case of the TL-64, the default location for the 64bit versions help file path is  "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\Tube Leveler\TL-64_Tube_Leveler.chm"

Click the TL-64 UI and the F1 key should bring up the help.

@scook - yeah, I tried that first, but it didn't come up.  I later went back, and figured out why help didn't pop up when I hit F1.

I had clicked on the Title Bar (the top of the UI window), and had not clicked INSIDE the window itself - and after I went back in and clicked somewhere within the UI window, rather than at the top in the title bar, help promptly showed up.

I am a little disappointed that nobody can seem to find the online help for these included effects without actually loading an instance of the effect.  The documentation section on all of the included effects clearly indicates that one can look for online help for each effect, but a search of the index returns ZERO results for it.

I would much rather read up on the use and control of an effect PRIOR to loading it into the project and hitting F1 from within the effect's UI, and I would have thought this information would have been available in the main documentation somewhere.

In any case - YES by all means use the F1 key within the UI window to read up on controlling the TL-64 Tube Leveler, and any other effect you are interested in.

Thanks for the recommendation, Bob!

Tomas... if you're interested, you can find more information about the SONAR Power! books at: http://www.garrigus.com/ and http://www.garrigus.com/powerbooks.asp

Yes, it does take actually clicking the UI not just having the window in focus.

The other thing is that the documentation probably should be rewritten to take into account a hard copy is no longer furnished. At the time of the hard copy doc, the meaning of "online" was clear; that is no longer the case. The use of "online" has caused more than one poster to search the internet for help files that are just separate files on the PC.

The sonar power books are what the manual should be.

Yeah, but clicking on the books doesn't work for me either.  :)

They really are good books.
