I have a situation where I want to run the following efx in this order:
 
-De-esser
-ProChannel inserts (EQ, Compression, Console Emulator)
-Delay or reverb
Sonar doesn't seem to allow me the chance to route things this way. Instead, I have to route either the ProChannel stuff first, OR the (non-ProChannel) De-esser/Delay first.
 
Aside from assigning the De-esser to clips (ugh!) - is there any other way to route efx so that I can apply the de-esser / ProChannel efx / delay?

I am guessing this all has to happen on the track. FX chains can do that assuming you are running a version of SONAR that has FX chains. FX chains can go in the FX bin or anywhere in the PC and there can be as many as necessary in a track.

I am using Sonar X2.

The issue is that what's in the efx bin and what's on ProChannel seem to be two separate blocks, and you have to put one in front of the other(?).

If I just wanted to use the PC, I could put the De-esser in an FX chain container in the PC at the top of the PC followed by the PC modules then another FX chain container in the PC with the Delay/Reverb.
 
If you prefer, you could substitute the FX bin for one of the FX chain containers in the PC.

Opps - there it is - never mind - I got it now.
If you drag an efx over to ProChannel it stores it there.

I tend to choose "Insert module - FXChain" and then insert "audio effects".  It work just like theFX bin, but is moveable within the PC.
 
Since the FXChains in X2, I have stopped using the FXbin.  Being able to customise the GUI is great too.
 
I also find them handy for gain staging.
