Besides, if you remember anything (or know nothing) about complex programming, to back port anything as serious as a gapless engine would be a costly endeavor that, although great for good will, does absolutely nothing to the company's long term viability (begin the money grubbing debate now
) as it would cut deeply into upgrade profits.
