I installed the Giest demo version a few weeks back. Worked well for a few days. I open it now and it crashes Sonar. Googled a bit about it and learnt Giest is known to crash Sonar and Logic. Want to check if anyone with similar experience or information on this issue. I was almost set to buy the full version of Giest but now I am thinking if I should just switch over from Sonar itself !

Please forgive me, but... you're going to change DAWs because of an issue with a single plugin that is known to crash more than one DAW when you don't even know the plugin well enough yet to spell it correctly?

Wish I could help you, but I'm not familiar with it, myself.

I didn't experience any crashes when I demoed it but I passed because of its inability to handle anything other than 4/4 properly (like most VST drum sequencers).
