I greatly appreciate these suggestions, thanks! BTW, I have read (twice, going of thrice) Scott's Sonar X1 Power book, and found it invaluable for learning Sonar.

I really enjoyed reading THE MIXING ENGINEER'S HANDBOOK by Bobby Owsinski. He also has a Mastering Engineer's Handbook, but I have not read it. Also, Mike Senior's Mixing Secrets For The Small Studio is a great book. Both these books have great tips on how to make better mixes.
