Does anyone know of an alternative to Percussion Strip for down and dirty super quick tweaking of drum tracks? Preferably something that can also process percussion as well as drum kits (yeah I know percussion IS drum kits too - but I had to clarify it somehow

Thanks

Not an expert but i have had luck with Boost 11 tho it can break up pretty easily.
Also the multiband compressor in sonitus can do some cool tricks.
I've had luck with adding extra tracks of samples such as kik drums and snares to add definition to the main drum track.

thx guys - yeah Glyn I tried the FX chains, but like Percussion Strip it seems to be geared to more hip-hop, dance, trance type drums and certainly no percussion...Boost is more for mastering rather than eq'ing. Not to worry I was just finding Percussion Strip so easy to use, but I'm into some projects now where the preset shortcomings are becoming noticeable. S'pose I will need to use it manually

Please don't use Boost 11. Get the Concrete Limiter. The presets for the Percussion Strip are just starting points not something you want to use without modification.

I would help to know what it is you're looking for that's not included in the Percussion Strip plugin.

I've used Izotope Alloy in a few instances.

TS64?
Yes I agree the concrete limiter can work wonders and better than Boost 11

+ 1 to that.
CL adds punch and body to the sound IMO.
