Hi - quick question, I'm finally getting back into recording (and learning Sonar X3).  My question is about the Eleven Rack... it looks like a Pro Tools processor from everything I've read... can I use it to record direct into a Sonar DAW?  Looking at the back panel I would think so, but I would like confirmation before purchasing the 11R.  Many thanks in advance!

pretty sure you can. any serious audio interface on windows provides ASIO drivers. if it got that you're good to go.

remember though the sonar died this week. no longer supported. yet it works fine. both x3 and platinum. no need to switch if you already got it (if not, don't)

Thanks for the reply Rob.  I just found out about Cakewalk/Sonar... very sad.  I go back to Guitar Tracks 2 (almost 20 years ago).

I hope they keep this forum alive... I've received a lot of great advice here over the years.

BTW I decided to order the Eleven Rack... it was at a great price and I'm sure I'll be able to use it.

Don't know if you got things working or how they went.

Found this related thread (dated but should still be relevant especially since your using X3)
