Yep!
Record the line signal flat.
Upon playback, I'd use a high-pass filter to get rid of extraneous thump/rumble/mud
If the guitar is part of a full ensemble/band arrangement, you can set the high-pass filter higher.
There's no need for the acoustic to be competing with the bass and kick drum.
If the guitar is using a piezo pickup, it's going to sound a bit "spanky" (lots of "smack").
You might want to EQ to tame that a little... (going to be in the mids)
But EQ is totally dependent on the situation (context)...
