X2 is a disaster .  .
When i try to edit midi notes with the snap to grid activated
and copying and pasting, it will not snap to the grid anyway, and it turns itself off !
I need to activate it again and try to hit the snap point where i want the mididata pasted.

Also when recording with softsynth, midi seems to be a bit off, atleast at the next miditrack !

There's also problems when recording audio, somtimes half recording or off in timing.

This is a complete disaster, you ask me... !
X2 has became more or less useless

Im no hater, but i just had to say this, because it is a fact..

Is this a rant or do you want some help?

If the latter post up your specs including which version of X2 you are running (i.e have you installed X2a)?

There could be many solutions to your problem(s) if we know more.

and you are running Win 8 preview with 2Gb of ram.  Your ram needs to be 8 Gb or higher.

Lets say that i could run perfectly well X1b on the same computer without any of those problems.
This is not computer related, but software related problem ( sonar ) itself...

I have email'd Cakewalk about 14 hour's ago, just a short message, cause i think they
are well familiar with all those issues
Due to all threads that have been here on the forums, and asking when there will be
an uppdate to X2b.

I also told that that i cant afford a new DAW ( X3 ) now.
So i really hope they will have an uppdate soon..

And yes i have the X2a uppdate installed...

Just saw your specs......2gb RAM on Windows 8 Preview 64 bit?

I'm afraid you are asking for trouble with all kinds of issues.

As i said in the post above.....

X1b , was running completely fine, without any issues at all, and i mean NO ISSUES at all.
On the same computer and ram etc...

This post is not my intention to starting another way to drown Cakewalk into the bottomless pit.
But if there should be a workaround, i surely want to know about it.

About the amount of ram i have on the computer, i can agree partially
cause i do not run any Sample librarys, who would require more ram.
More ram would of course be nice, but not a requirement to have a program working
that was X1b an good example on.....

Of course Win 8 Preview is not " stable " enought, but as i said, it worked great running X1b.
so why should not X2a do the same !!

Thanks

Jan S.
