In a way its sort of funny. CD format is the way music is placed on a CD. CD players understand that format. MP3 came about after a method was made to "rip" CDs of their music. Now you are using a format that was not meant to be use by CDs, that is MP3 to play on all CD players and it wont work. Stick to CD-DA.
Sonar can burn a CD using the CD format. Going to the extra step of making an MP3 is unnecessary.
"CD-DA stands for Compact Disc-Digital Audio and was developed by Sony and Philips in the 1980s and is defined in the Red Book standard. It is exactly the same format as CDA, it is just that CDA is a more succinct abbreviation than CD-DA and so is more commonly used."
