Hi! I have been using sonar x1 and it works great. I am thinking about upgrade to x2. Could you please xplain me if x2 installs as a separate application so X1 will remain intact? Thanks in advance and please excuse my english.

All new versions always install as independent and separate installs.

Yes, but you also have the option when installing to duplicate most custom settings with X1 to X2.

However, I think it's pretty likely that once you switch to X2, you'll stay there. Just remember to do the X2a update, it makes quite a difference.

I would suggest that you wait just a few weeks since you have waited this long. There is a good possibility that when you upgrade to x2 you might just get a fee upgrade to the next paid update as well.

If you don't want to wait that is ok too you will get a good value.

Yes, everything will remain the same except now you'll also have SONAR X2 on your system.

Just to be sure I got it right: when upgrading to Sonar X2, you can import the preferences and other settings from X1? It would make life easier if the upgrade configured the audio, vsts folder settings, etc.
