Hi, I inserted my Cakewalk TTS-1 into my Sonar X1 and when I did, my new antivirus program popped up and said, "Do you trust this program?"  I said "Yes" and then proceeded.  It worked great.  However, now every time I open Sonar X1 and play a composition that includes TTS-1 in it, Cakewalk completely freezes and windows shuts it down.

Is there anyway I can reinstall TTS-1 ONLY without having to reinstall the entire cakewalk program?

Thanks for your help,
Ryan

Yes, choose the "Advanced" option during installation, and uncheck every FX and synth except TTS-1.

It is recommended that you temporarily suspend or turn off antivirus programs during both installation and use of Sonar.  And, as noted above, the custom install WILL allow the selective installation of only the components you have checked.

FYI - There are groups of checked options in the install process, and you can disable each group as a whole by removing the check from the top-level group check box.  That makes the customization process a bit faster.

Most antivirus programs support a white list, a list of files, folders and file extensions that it's instructed to ignore. Add the entire \program files\cakewalk folder to that list, as well as your audio folder. Nobody's ever been infected by a rogue music plugin, and even if the antivirus software isn't screwing with you it's slowing you down.
