We are currently reviewing the Content Club to see if it was a success with users. It ended August 31st, 2013. I think it's good to evaluate programs and see how we can improve them for customers.

I upgraded to Sonar X2 last week 8/26). I couldn't figure out how to download the free software for July-August. I followed the "download it today" link to my orders/account page. But there is no link there to download the EDM Euphoria Collection. Was it to have been an automated process? Is there something I missed?
How can I get an active link now?

There should be a download link to "EDM Euphoria Compilation by DanceMIDISamples.com" above the "My Registered Products" in your store account. If you cannot find the link contact customer support.

My choice for a Content Club giveaway would be 'Track Layers' as per X1 and before

The way I see things, the Content Club is mostly advertising for the third parties, but in a form that makes it very appealing.  I wouldn't expect anything costly to be offered.

I know that I now lust after AAS stuff which I'd never heard of before the freebie (actually two freebies, with the second AAS one).

If the Content Club is mostly advertising for third parties then the only one that worked on me was the Groove3 pass - I was so genuinely impressed by what they had to offer during that month that I ended up buying a year's subscription. Can't say I've really used any of the other stuff much, except maybe the AAS freebie which was nice. The EDM Euphoria Compilation was a bit cheesy and I say that as someone who loves electronic music...but I guess if your thing is mainstream EDM (Deadmau5 etc) then I can imagine you could find some use for it. Personally I'd like to see more in the way of sounds for Rapture and Dimension Pro.

ditto on the Groove 3 pass and AAS.  This doesn't have to be something stupendous... maybe just some added sounds for the cakewalk synths... or free midi clips each month... or since AudioMidi went out of business, how about negotiating with some big VST vendors for a Stupid Deal of the Month for $9.99 like they did.

concentrating on providing anything with EDM is a waste of resources since it only appeals to a small segment of the user base and I personally will never use it. They need to reuse the first few free offers AAS DSF Drums for Session Drumer,  those are way more universally useful.

It's interesting to note that, as I'm reading this particular thread, there's a Cakewalk banner at the top of the page that reads, "INTRODUCING THE SONAR PRODUCER X2 CONTENT CLUB", with a link to "Learn More" about a program that expired last week.

I loved the GROOVE 3 PASS but used it to learn Pro Tools!

I quite liked getting the AAS patch, especially as you get another one for free as well...... I have yet to use the Rock Drums tho which is on my list to try out.
