It's been about 8 years since I've last updated this plugin, but I've finally made my first stab at porting it to 64-bit systems.

Some old hardware can be a bit quirky about the CC64 pedal messages it sends out. Some soft synths are quirky about how it handles that data. TenCrazy.com MFX SustainFix attempts to bridge the gap and make it all work together.

If you have a need for this sort of thing, or were a fan of it back in your old 32-bit days, please give it a whirl and tell me how it goes. FREE as always. Link is in the signature.

Cool. I used to use this to block CC123 (All Notes Off) sent by my old Roland keyboard that some soft synths don't handle correctly (letting it override Sustain). I had to switch to SONAR's MIDI Filter MFX when I went 64-bit, but it has issues. Will definitely give this a whirl.

Thanks,

Ah! Sweet mystery of life at last I've found you! Working perfectly. I registered it manually.

Thanks again. Will let you know if I run into any weirdness.

Markleford:  Thank you; thank you.  I thought I'd try the .bat file / run as admin route in Win8.  Everything looks good at first glance.  I will report back after some acid testing.  I'm going to push some of the more esoteric features, like Note On v=0 to true Note Off (and back again).  There could be some synth applications with release velocity.

Oddly enough, I was looking for some data thinning recently.  It's a stretch, but I want to see how converting to CC64 and SustainFix might help in X2's inaccurate quantization of CC messages.  I had been getting around this with a hardware Sample & Hold synced to the quantize increment.  Off to experiment,  Thanks again.

Good to hear about the successes. Hopefully two more converted plugins this week.
