Oh yeah, Dave Clark Five, not Journey.

Well that was different I have the dubious memory of Mr Clark and his four companions as they originated very close to my earth bound abode.
Generally OK, sorry Ed but the vocals sound a little strained, but I would not put a great deal of judgement on my view of vocals as I am definitely not expert or even amateur in the front.
Thanks for sharing.

Not bad for a quickie. Love the funky guitar groove, solid bass end, great performances.
Minor crit: The vocals for the most part is fine, though a tad wavering / strain, particularly noticeable in the change, where the vocals step up a notch.

Wookiee & SongCraft - I could say strained is what I was going for.
Anyway this was one of those that I wanted to just sing straight through come hell or high water.

Nice arrangement. A British invasion song that doesn't sound like the 60s. That's pretty cool. I liked most of it but do question the sincerity on the vocals. Of course, I don't know how I would have done it differently and give you props for doing it.

Thanks Warren.
This vocal was intended to convey a "whatever, darling. I give up, I'll do what ever you want". Is that the vibe you're getting?
