I am doing a composition and put in the drum midi parts (groove monkey big easy) Funk verses and I want to copy the part to track 2 for the bass and erase the double notes when I come across them.  The mouse  was selecting each section of the drum track to copy just fine to the 2nd track  but sometimes it changes to a pink and red line and I no longer can copy it.  It seems like it has become an envelope editor.  How do I get the track back to be able to select it?

It seems like it is a velocity envelope also could it be regional effects.  I can't get it back to the part where I can select a part.  Sorry my description is so sketchy

Without a screen capture, I can only make a guess.

Have you checked the Edit Filter drop down on the track?  It should be set to Clips.

Hope this helps,

Alt + Printscreen

Save it to your desktop, then upload to an image sharing site

Get the link code & post it on this forum using the Insert / Edit Image button

Use the windows snipping tool.
Alt + Printscreen has never worked for me.

I use the snippet tool but it has limitations
Never tried ALT+Printscreen but do use Printscreen then paste into Paint, edit and upload to imgur

This is what I've always done - never needed a third-party program to get screen shots.

I used to Alt/PrtSc and paste into MS Paint. I still do I if want to add text or crop the picture.
If you have Drop Box or One Drive both those will automatically save Alt/PrtSc to a Picture folder.
Supper handy for saving shots of web pages for on line shopping.
Then Imgur seems to  be the best sharing site right now.
I remembers my One drive folder too.
I can have a screen shot posted in less than a minute.
