You just find a cute girl, autotune and quadruple-track her, and instruct her to strip to her skivvies for "live" performances so no one notices her lips aren't moving with the lyrics.

Lips have to move? I don't get it? I mean ventriloquism is still cool right? Maybe these lip-syncers just need the right hand up their ass?

I'm sure someone is bound to tell me that I don't understand the finer points and difficulties of pouting and twerking at the same time?...

If you record more, do you have less time for the lipstick? Just hit it once with a powder puff and move on.

I just don't know what to believe, man.

I mean, the GOVERNMENT put out that Reverb Madness movie, and they wouldn't mislead the public, would they?

I DO admit that my involvement with 'Tweaking' a mix has been elevated for some time, but when I am tweaking, I feel so ALIVE and IN CONTROL, almost like I will never fade out.

I've seen the controversial Tape Saturation Madness from the US Dept of Misinformation, but somehow missed Reverb Madness. Is it on Netflix?

Everyone abuses a new tool when they first get it....

You know you've hit the bottom when someone finds you in an alley behind a real recording studio using autotune on your ipad or worse, your iphone to tweek your latest vocal recording.

Seriously, stop using the one click solution on Melodyne and just say "NO" to presets. With Melodyne, do your corrections manually, listening to the track and fix it one note at a time manually and only if it needs fixing. I used to use the one click autofix but I managed to kick that nasty habit and now use it where and when it's required to improve the performance.

As far as the presets in the "turd polishing software"...... learn what it is doing and if you wanna use presets, at least make your own as starting points.

Long ago it was widely reported that Richard Pryor set his hair on fire from a crack pipe (remember the joke about a lit match bobbing up and down being Richard Pryor running down the street?).  He had ACTUALLY been recording a comedy album and was secretly a HEAVY Melodyne Preset user.  I hear he was doing 2-3 projects a DAY!

Melodyne will fix a lot of things but I have yet to hear it fix a bad punchline..... you need autotune for that.

2 to 3 projects..... that's got it bad...... real bad.

So I went for a stroll down to the boardwalk and I saw this artist sitting there with a sign that said he would paint anything you wanted, for fifteen bucks. I played him a couple of my own songs from my phone and then asked him to paint what he interpreted as a visual representation of my music. This is what he came up with:

What do you guys think it means?...

Hey!!!! Where did you get that picture of my first wife????? Bob Bone

It was actually part of a flyer that was taped to the back of a cubicle door. Something to do with offering "ham-wallet" services, whatever that means?... So ummm, wow! She's a?... She's a handsome woman, Bob!
