Well, Melodyne presets aside, I did just try out their demo, and it seems pretty cool.  I am off to try some stuff out with it.

Nice! Cannot see you regretting this forage. If you watch the videos on Celemony's site, you'll see that correction purposes are really just the tip of the iceberg with melodyne editor. It's ability to rework, harmonize, mangle etc. are practically endless and it makes every instrument, note expression capable. I've lost count the amount of times a part in a song has become something better and completely different than originally intended, through mostly just sheer messing about with this plug! And ever had a perfect take but someone dropped, bumped or tapped something and it was picked up by a mic? Simply rub some M.E. on it, find the offending noise and completely remove it.
 
But I'm forgetting this is a Cakewalk forum so umm? *Puts on best salesman voice* For best results, ensure you use Sonar X2 as your host program! *Cheesey blinding grin*
